The other day,
news broke out
Chris Brown reportedly bailed on a Gay Pride event at The Georgia
Freight Depot nightclub on Saturday, September 5th, during the Atlanta
Black Gay Pride Weekend. The original report pointed out he was
pre-paird part of the fee, but he never fulfilled his contractual
obligations.
According to the Georgia Voice, Breezy was not slated to perform, but
to attend the party and introduce Teyana Taylor prior to her set. He
reportedly changed his mind in the last minute and told the organizers –
Traxx Girls – he is not coming because he learned there was a group of
gay men among the 4,000 gay women attending the event, dubbed as “the
biggest girl party in the country.” Eventually, Traxx Girls reached out
to Fetty Wap and he agreed to fill in for CB and perform.
TMZ now reports that Brown was never booked for the event. A rep for
the singer explained Traxx just put his name and photo on posters and
flyers to attract more people. Even thought Chris, along with Fetty and
Teyana, performed in Atlanta for his
One Hell of a Nite Tour the same night, he never signed a
contract for the Gay Pride event. As well, the man himself took to
Twitter to apologize to the disappointed fans, running with the same
version of events.
Note that the TMZ report states Traxx Girls paid CB to perform, plus it
never mentions Teyana Taylor. The whole story sounds way too fishy,
doesn’t it?
