‘Bad Girl’ crooner and Grafton Entertainment signee, Mr. 2Kay has
said that working with Seyi Shay and Cynthia Morgan on the song, ‘Bad
Girl Remix’ was akin to being with family.
In his words, ‘Working with the two divas especially was quite
great; they are simply amazing. Seyi Shay and Cynthia Morgan are just
out of this world. It was more like a family relationship between us,
and they put their best into the song.
That’s why you could hear what they were actually singing out in the
song. They told me they wanted to work with me on the song because they
loved the original version, so they wanted to make the remix better
than the original version; and that is what happened.’
On the inspiration behind his trending song, ‘Who No Like Better
Thing,’ he quipped, ‘Day to day life is the inspiration behind the song.
It is what happens every day because everybody loves good things. Even
though at times, some people want to pretend about it, we all love the
good things of life.
My producer also added to the concept because he was actually playing
around with the keyboard before we began producing the song.’
