Young Thug & Arrested Suspect Deny Involvement in Lil Wayne’s Tour Bus Shooting

Last month, the alleged shooter of Lil Wayne’s tour bus, Jimmy Winfrey a.k.a Peewee Roscoe, went full snitch on Birdman and put the whole blame on him. Still behind bars, the suspect now claims the notion he tried to kill the rapper is as absurd as Drew Brees attempting to murder rival quarterback Matt Ryan.Winfrey’s lawyers explained their client didn’t have motive to off Weezy. While they admit the arrested artist is an associate of Young Thug, they point out the latter not only admires Tunechi, but basically idolizes him.

Clearly, the New Orleans Saints and Atlanta Falcons are rivals because they are fighting every year to win the same division: the NFC South. Yet, this does not provide a motive for Drew Brees to kill or maim Matt Ryan.”

The legal team also acknowledged there are rap beefs, but also added that Wayne and Thug are definitely not taking it to the streets.

Meanwhile, in his latest interview with GQ, where he also admitted 90% of his clothes are women’s, Young Thug denied being involved in the tour bus shooting. He also claimed he had previously asked Birdman to bring Wayne in the studio, but his idol never showed up even for a single session. That must have been disappointing.

Why’d you decide to connect with Birdman and Cash Money Records?

Because my whole life I looked up to them. I wanted to stunt like Birdman, which I f***ing am. And I wanted to be like Wayne.

Maybe if I was a peasant it would. But of course it bothers me some, because that’s what I always wanted. It was so weird: I always wanted to be in the studio with Wayne. I would tell Birdman to bring him over, but he never f***ing came.

Thugger also suggested that the tables have turned and while he was inspired by Wayne a few years ago, he is sure that right now he serves as Tunechi’s inspiration.

What do you mean?

I feel like if he had the chance to be himself or me, he’d be me. If I had the chance to be myself or him, I’d be him. That man is the greatest. If we had the biggest problem in the world, I’d still say he’s the best rapper in the f***ing world. Everybody knows nobody raps better than the f***ing boss.
