ENTERTAINMENT NEWS: Puff Daddy to Play iHeartRadio Music Festival

Remember, he’s Puff Daddy again, not Diddy.
iHeartRadio Music Festival just got a lot more star power. Last night (Aug. 16) news broke that the two-night Las Vegas extravaganza will feature a Sept. 19 set from Sean "Diddy" Combs, aka Puff Daddy.

Aside from Combs' celebrity status, it's a big deal just to see him onstage, as live performances have been something of a rarity for the Bad Boy Records founder lately. He's hinted that his long-awaited sequel to No Way Out -- potentially his last album -- could be released later this year.

Check out the video for his recent Pharrell collab, "Finna Get Loose":

iHeartRadio Music Festival will take place in Las Vegas' MGM Grand Arena Sept. 18-19. The action will be broadcast live on iHeartMedia radio stations and online via Yahoo Live. On Sept. 29 and 30, it will air as a two-night special on the CW Network

Kanye West, Coldplay, the Who, Demi Lovato, and David Guetta are among the many other big-name performers.
"Puff Daddy is back, and I am bringing everything I have to the iHeartRadio Music Festival," Combs says. "Music is everything to me -- it's a blessing to make music. I'm excited to be a part of such a great lineup and I can't wait to make everyone want to get up and dance."
His last official release was 2014's 11 11, a collaborative album with producer Guy Gerber.
